Design is not always a noticeable element -- unless it is bad
design. Every time I approach a door with a handle that says to
me "pull" and I end up having to push - I want to get a
screwdriver (or a hammer) and fix it right there. It is our
responsibility, as designers, to ensure that what we create
works for the purpose of its creation, that it works well for
the people it was created for, and if it can also be
aesthetically pleasing...then it's a day well spent.
Over the last several years I have focused primarily on
designing world-class user experiences for a wide range of
mediums. While at Microsoft, Amazon.com and FizzyLab I was able
to refine my methodologies and approaches for people-centered
designs.
